YOUNG entrepreneurs come from all over Texas Christian University to participate in the TCU Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization www.tcuceo.org.  With more than 400 student members, it is the most popular student-run club on campus and the largest CEO chapter in the nation. While most members are business students, nearly 40% come from other majors including Science & Engineering, Liberal Arts, Ranch Management, and Fashion Merchandising & Design.


TCU CEO students aren’t afraid of a little competition.From freshmen to seniors, students are focused on getting the best information about founding and running their own business. TCU CEO brings successful entrepreneurs to campus to speak, teach, mentor and network with students. Members have mingled with the founders of Travelocity, ciHost, Larry North Fitness, Cash America, Presidio Media and others. Students also take road trips to visit successful entrepreneurs at their places of business.

In addition to holding several competitions on campus, members of TCU CEO travel to entrepreneurship conferences and competitions across the country. Approximately 60 students attend the annual CEO National Conference in Chicago, and several students have won cash and scholarships prizes for their business plans. TCU CEO students aren’t afraid of a little competition.

They also like to lead. Entrepreneurs are by their very nature leaders, so TCU CEO has plenty of leadership opportunities, from club officers to a large and active student board of directors.  Nationally, the club has won Best Chapter of the Year, Best Marketing, Best Faculty Advisor, Best Student Leader, Best Website, Best Intern Program, and Best Mentor Program.  TCU CEO has also been named Best TCU Student Organization.
