Kids Invent! gives college students the opportunity to get out in the community to utilize innovative teaching techniques that inspire and teach entrepreneurs even younger than themselves.THE LYLES Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at California State University Fresno allows college students to get practical entrepreneurship training and real world experience.
Kids Invent! is an after school and summer camp program that provides elementary and middle school children with hands on applications of math and science through innovative and creative activities. Students learn entrepreneurial skills by creating their own toys, digital videos and web pages. They learn key business concepts by crafting business plans and presenting marketing materials.
College entrepreneurship students play a vital role in the program and are able to apply their knowledge and skills they are learning by teaching children throughout the community.
