About Us

Looking for an entrepreneurship university or college program?

EntrepreneurEDU.org is a free-to-view list of the best college and university entrepreneurship and small business education programs you can’t find anywhere else.

Unlike other websites, EntrepreneurEDU.org is completely free to the user without annoying pop ups or third party endorsements.

The website has been designed to be the go-to place for the college-bound community of high school juniors and seniors, their families, and high school counselors. Here you can find detailed information about unique university entrepreneurship education programs.

The site is also a place where high school principals, secondary school entrepreneurship mentors and non-profit organizations can come to find information and opportunities for their students and communities.

How is EntrepreneurEDU.org organized?

The website is divided into four main components; Articles, Success Stories, College Profiles, and Model Programs.

The Article section is full of pieces written by noted leaders within the entrepreneurship field across the US. These articles cover a variety of subjects including:

· entrepreneurship across curriculum

· entrepreneurship in business programs

· engineering entrepreneurship

· social entrepreneurship

· green entrepreneurship

· arts entrepreneurship

· urban entrepreneurship

· rural entrepreneurship

· international entrepreneurship

· small business entrepreneurship

· family business entrepreneurship

· women entrepreneurship

· minority entrepreneurship

The Success Stories section feature student and alumni from participating schools who have successfully used their entrepreneurship education to do great things in the world.

The College Profiles, chalk full of photos, showcase each entrepreneurship school in an eye-catching page with seven content tabs: flagship programs, course spotlights, a section on academics, awards and recognition, college fast facts, and detailed contact information for the school.

Finally, the Model Program is intended to distinguish colleges and universities that are nationally renowned for their entrepreneurship programs. The Undergraduate Model Program goes into detail about exciting and unique opportunities available at some of the best entrepreneurial schools in the country.

How are entrepreneurship schools selected for EntrepreneurEDU.org?

We wanted to make this website useful for any member of the high school community who is interested in entrepreneurship. To do this, we recognized that variety is key--we strive to find differences in school types, settings, affiliation, size, and selectivity.

We also seek to find a variety of commitment; majors, minors, certificates, and concentrations. Entrepreneurship programs designed to teach traditional, social, intrapreneurship and/or public entrepreneurship and those aimed specifically at minorities and/or women are featured on the website.

EntrepreneurEDU.org also showcases programs that combine entrepreneurship with other academic disciplines such as nursing, music, science, arts, environmental science, technology, and engineering.

Colleges who apply to be featured on the site go through an admissions process and are vetted by our staff and review board. Many entrepreneurship schools and programs invited to apply offer out of the classroom entrepreneurial options such as mentorships, internships, entrepreneurship clubs, business plan competitions, investment funds and other experiential learning opportunities.

We make sure that included entrepreneurship colleges are committed to their entrepreneurship programs and students. We look for colleges with entrepreneur mentors and faculty with entrepreneurial experience and specific entrepreneurship scholarships and recognition programs.

Programs must have sufficient institutional support for long-term sustainability and growth of the program. Finally, a program with demonstrated successful outcomes lets us know that the program is doing something right.

Where are your entrepreneurship school rankings?

EntrepreneurEDU.org is not a ranking-style website. The purpose of the site is to profile the differences, strengths and uniqueness of each college and its entrepreneurship program. Arbitrary measures deciding which program is better do not help incoming college students determine which program is the right fit for them.
